Clare Watson is a trading name of CMW (NW) Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17269918). We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO registration number ZC172703).

What data we collect and why
Enquiries and bookings
When you contact us via the website contact form or book a call through Calendly, we collect your name, email address, and any information you include in your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss potential engagements. The legal basis is legitimate interests.
Marketing Audit
When you complete the Marketing Audit via ScoreApp, we collect your name, email address, company name, and your responses to the audit questions. We use this to generate your report and to send the follow-up email sequence. The legal basis is contract performance and legitimate interests.
Website analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify individuals. The legal basis is legitimate interests.
Email communications
If you register interest in a product or opt in to receive updates, we hold your email address for that purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of third-party tools to operate the business. Your data may be processed by:
Squarespace (website hosting)
Calendly (appointment scheduling)
ScoreApp (Marketing Audit platform)
Stripe (payment processing)
PandaDoc (proposals and e-signatures)
Microsoft 365 (email and document storage)
folk CRM (contact management)
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and processes data in accordance with UK and EU data protection law. We do not sell your data to third parties.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry and contact data: up to 24 months from last contact, unless you become a client.
Client data: 6 years from the end of the engagement, in line with our accounting obligations.
Marketing Audit data: up to 24 months from completion.
Email marketing data: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to

Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
Object to processing based on legitimate interests
Request restriction of processing
Withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing
